Triumph Motorcycles Articles From Rallye Motoplex

If you’re looking for a motorcycle that makes a strong, personal statement, you’d be hard-pressed to find one much better than a Triumph. As Britain’s largest motorcycle producer, Triumph makes iconic motorcycles across multiple different model families. The company is often identified with the independent, lone rider image it gained after its bikes were made popular by the likes of Steve McQueen, Marlon Brando, and Bob Dylan.

If you’d like to see how you feel riding one of these iconic motorcycles, contact Rallye Motoplex in Moncton, New Brunswick. We’ll have you on the road with the perfect motorcycle in no time.

Adventure and Touring Motorcycles

If distance is your main goal, the adventure and touring motorcycle family from Triumph is your best bet. These bikes are meant to chew up the pavement for mile after mile, with powerful but fuel efficient engines and comfortable riding. The Triumph MY17 Tiger 800 uses the Triumph Semi-Active Suspension system which uses accelerometers to measure the bike’s changes in directions in order to actively compensate damping and preload in the front and rear suspension. The MY16 Trophy SE ABS model features an inline three cylinder engine with 1215 cubic centimeters of cylinder displacement. Meanwhile, the Tiger 800 XC is perfectly suited to tackle hard terrain thanks to its Triumph Traction Control system and switchable ABS.

Cruiser Motorcycles

Triumph’s family of cruiser motorcycles offers awesome styling with power and agility to match. These bikes are ready to tear up the highway or cut through city streets. The MY16 Speedmaster features aggressive blacked out components and an 865 cubic centimeter side by side two cylinder engine. The MY16 America channels an American motorcycle look with chrome components and a wrapped front fender. At 2.3 liters, the engine in the MY16 Rocket III is the largest you’ll find a production motorcycle anywhere, and it develops an astonishing 148 hp from its three inline cylinders. On the other hand, the powerful Thunderbird has an engine with 102 more cubic centimeters of displacement than its predecessor while also having an agile, easy-handling chassis.

Modern Classic Motorcycles

The modern classics family jams components that bring modern performance into bikes with classic styling. The Bonneville T100 is an easy-going daily driver that has enough juice to get you down the highway when you want it, but a fuel efficient, non-temperamental nature. With a classic styling reminiscent of the 1960s cafe racer culture, the Thruxton Air-Cooled is a quick, fun ride. If you’re looking for something stripped down, masculine, and minimalist, look no further than the Bonneville Bobber. While it’s hard-tail looks and spartan style make this one of the most attractive bikes on the road, the 1,200 cubic centimeter engine is what makes this bike truly special to ride. The Scrambler features a rough-and-tumble trail-ready aesthetic that’s buttoned up just enough to look at home in the city, too. For a contemporary edition, try the Street Twin, Triumph’s most contemporary take on the Bonneville, which features a Ride By Wire throttle, traction control, and standard ABS.

Roadsters and Supersport Motorcycles

Triumph’s family of roadsters and supersport bikes bring a surprising degree of performance and power on chassis meant for sport. These bikes have high-compression engines with high rpm redlines giving astonishing torque and high end power. The Daytona 675 has a three cylinder engine controlled by a state-of-the-art fuel management system. The MY16 Speed Triple family keeps exciting with a 1,050 cubic centimeter engine and Brembo Monobloc brakes for major control. The Street Triple adds sporty character to a more fun-loving frame. It’s less terrifying power and more zippy rides through city streets.
