2026 BMW M 1000 XR Blackstorm metallic/M Motorsport
Born to leadThis is it: the lightest and most powerful production crossover bike in the world. Nothing less. An M bike through and through. Trimmed down for maximum performance – in this case, long-distance performance. That's why it's called the M 1000 XR. Or, as we like to call it: MaXimizeR. Because this bike maximizes everything: your riding experience, your endurance and, whenever you want, your adrenaline. Alternatively, you can confidently relax while travelling great distances. After all, you know you can leave everyone behind on a whim. #NeverStopChallenging.
Features may include:
- The perfect start: the M start-up animation
When your M XR starts up, you are immersed in the full M Experience. The TFT display switches on with the unmistakable M start-up animation and shows itself ready for your personal challenges.
- Designed for performance right down to the rear
The motorsport genes of the M XR are in every detail: from the M milled parts, such as the M clutch and brake lever, to the slim rear section with steep titanium rear silencer and short number plate carrier.
- Powerful and direct: the engine
The M XR has everything you need for speed. The beating heart is its extremely powerful and high-revving ShiftCam engine with 148 kW (201 hp) and a maximum speed of 14,600 rpm.
- Controlled force: with M winglets
The M winglets tame the brute power of the M XR. They generate downforces at high speeds and thus provide greater driving stability, a lower tendency to do wheelies, as well as a smoother ride.
- Fast forward: the ultra-sporty front
The front has an "all-black" finish, including the milled, black, upper fork bridge and legs. The M colours create an unmistakable visual asymmetry and, together with the tinted Sport windscreen, emphasise the bike's performance-oriented character.
